Princess Sofia of Sweden attended the graduation ceremony and presentation of brooches for the Sophiahemmet school of nursing at Stockholm City Hall on the 21st of January, 2016.
The Sophiahemmet University originates from the nursing study program that was founded in 1884 by the Swedish Queen Sophia. Today Sophiahemmet University is the leading university in Nursing education in Sweden. Princess Sofia was appointed as the new honorary president of Sophiahemmet by the King earlier this year.
